The Sound of Silence

As I sit here on the deck watching the rain,I connected to a feeling that has been swirling around me this week.
Earlier I walked across the street seeing all the shops and restaurants that have closed signs in the windows...it felt a bit eerie, giving me a weird feeling of time stopping and everyone taking a break from what we knew as the norm of life.
I have to confess that I have embraced this down time.
I am not saying all of the time, but when I see myself having fearful thoughts about what is happening I would sit in stillness and begin to see I was following my fearful thoughts.
I imagined futures with a scary outcome due to this present situation in our world.
Standing strong in the silence and connecting to this Divine GPS , that is always leading us to peace and our birthright of well-being.
So live this day in the moment, connect to the aliveness that you feel and do what brings you Joy.
I have found my joy in cooking, scheduling zoom dinners with friends and family.
Sending weekly fun surprise Amazon packages.
Learning new games, going for long walks, or simply packing PBJ sandwich’s, biking and stopping for lunch to just sit and BE.
So in this time of isolation, there is a deeper Stillness we can connect too.
We all have this Inner Spirit that will teach us to see things differently at any given moment.
For now, that state of mind feels restful and serene.
